Green Strokes Violet Patch
It is a beautiful thing when spring emerges and with it, the bright purples of violets that spring up in the fresh green grass. When groups of them appear, it is a wondrous thing to sit with them and take them in, which is what I did when creating this piece. The flowers build in great density at the bottom edge of the piece, which provides a beautiful grounding for the dancing and playful lines that graphically represent the grass above.
